The Associated Press reported new details Thursday in the investigation into Jennifer Hudson's young nephew's death.

The AP reported that, according to an anonymous police official, detectives believe that 7-year-old Julian King was most likely shot in the SUV in which his body was found.

The police source told the news agency that law enforcement officials believe Julian was alive when he left the home where his grandmother, Darnell Hudson Donerson, and his uncle, Jason Hudson, were found dead.
