The star gets ready for kung-fu fireworks.

Samuel L. Jackson is set to play a bad, bad man in a new martial arts flick.

Jackson will play bad guy Sho'nuff (a.k.a. the Shogun of Harlem) in a remake of 'The Last Dragon' (1985), says the Hollywood Reporter. The original kung-fu cult classic followed a young man on his quest to achieve "the glow" by becoming as skilled a martial artist as humanly possible.

"I'm a huge fan of the original and look forward to bringing Sho'Nuff into the 21st century," Jackson said.
