ET was there as celebrities, comedians and prominent journalists gathered to share a few laughs while honoring wounded soldiers.
Talk show host Regis Philbin hosted the star-studded Stand Up For Heroes, a benefit for the Bob Woodruff Foundation, which was named after the ABC journalist who was badly wounded by a roadside bomb while covering the war in Iraq.
Woodruff told ET he was honored to be at the event with wounded veterans and he hoped the event would provide some comic relief for their recovery.
Former network news anchors Dan Rather and Tom Brokaw were there to support the benefit, as were Bruce Springsteen, Whoopi Goldberg, Christopher Meloni, Ricky Gervais and Darrell Hammond.
