What projects was 'Twilight' star Elizabeth Reaser involved in before she was tapped to play Esme Cullen in the sexy new vampire flick?
The 33-year-old actress has been quite busy in recent years, appearing as a regular on the hugely popular medical drama "Grey's Anatomy," as well as "The Ex List," a short-lived dramedy. She also had a part in the 2005 film 'The Family Stone' and appeared in episodes of "Saved" and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent."
Reaser, who was born in Michigan, says she always wanted to pursue acting and was able to attend New York's prestigious Juilliard School of Drama, where she earned her degree. She immediately pursued acting opportunities and eventually found adequate representation and landed a big break -- a part on the daytime soap "Guiding Light."
Despite playing many dramatic roles, the 'Twilight' actress once emphasized the importance of keeping laughter in your life. "Within any drama in anyone's life, there's always a way to find the humor in it. Without humor no one cares about whatever drama is going on."
