ET has obtained papers indicating that Michael Jackson has transferred the deed to his fabled Neverland ranch to a company that he reportedly has a controlling interest in.
According to the papers filed at the Santa Barbara County clerk-recorder's office, the new owner of Neverland is Sycamore Valley Ranch Co. LLC, which the Associated Press reports is a joint venture between Jackson and an affiliate of Colony Capital LLC.
The fate of Jackson's 2,500-acre property in Santa Barbara, CA -- complete with estate, amusement park and zoo -- is not known. Facing foreclosure and financial woes, Jackson has not lived there since his arrest in 2003 and subsequent trial on child molestation charges, of which he was acquitted.
