ET spent a very energetic day with Warren Sapp as the NFL great took care of business and got psyched up for the "Dancing with the Stars" semi-finals, which take place Monday night.
Warren started his day at 8 a.m. after taking a red-eye flight cross country to get ready for his "Inside the NFL" taping by screening hours of football games.
We learned that Warren drinks no caffeine. His drink of choice that morning was cranberry juice to wash down a gigantic bacon, egg and cheese croissant breakfast.
Warren also demonstrates that he has a sense of humor when he checks his executive producer's iPhone to make sure he voted for him.
"I need all the votes I can get," he tells ET. "I'm facing the most beautiful woman ever. I have the whole Disney Channel behind Cody [Linley], and then Lance [Bass] -- a boy band? Come on man! I've been fighting boy bands since I was a kid."
Then it is off to makeup, followed by a pre-production meeting where Warren gets razed by Chris Collinsworth, his co-analyst on "NFL Today," who imitates Warren's 15-second solo dance.
Finally, it is time for the show. And Warren admits, "'Dancing with the Stars' is out of my element. This is me in my element."
Warren is also in his element as a dad and he can't wait to get home to spend some quality time with his kids.
"I got soccer dad duties when I go home," he shares. Even so, he is hoping his "DWTS" stint doesn't get cut short and he goes all the way to the finals and becomes the proud possessor of the disco ball trophy!
"I hope Kym [Johnson] is ready to go," he says of his partner, who injured her shoulder earlier this week.
"Dancing with the Stars"' semi-finals are Monday night at 8 p.m. on ABC.
