ET is on the set of "Brothers and Sisters" with Rob Lowe as he gives visiting Chinese delegates a set tour, which was a special request from his close friend Governor Schwarzenegger. The star takes a break from playing host to tell ET of his terrifying first-hand account of the recent fires that ravaged his Montecito neighborhood just days ago.
Lowe and other celebs who live in the area had to evacuate the exclusive Santa Barbara community in a moments notice to avoid the fire. "That fire was on us like that," Rob tells ET. "There was literally no warning."
Despite his home being within hundreds of yards of the blaze, Rob's property was saved from the inferno. The former "West Wing" star praises the efforts of crisis workers, saying, "[There was an] amazing response from the state and the local authorities."
