ET confirms Winona Ryder was taken to a west London hospital today.

The actress fell ill while on a flight to Heathrow from Los Angeles and was briefly hospitalized.

"The plane had a scheduled landing. As a precaution, [Ryder] was taken to the hospital and released within an hour," Ryder's publicist tells ET.

The actress' current projects include a starring roles in 'Star Trek' film with Simon Pegg and 'The Private live of Pipa Lee' with Keanu Reeves.
