Tennis champ Jimmy Connors, the world's No. 1 player for a period in the '70s, was arrested Friday night in Santa Barbara after getting into squabble.

Police tell the Associated Press that Connors allegedly refused a request to leave an area close to the entrance of UC Santa Barbara's campus arena.

Connors was arrested at the start of a basketball game, says the AP, though as of Saturday morning, he hadn't yet been booked by police.
