Robert Pattinson said he received some help from 'Twilight' author Stephenie Meyer for his role as vampire hunk Edward Cullen-- she gave him the novel's semi finished manuscript!
Robert tells Teen magazine the main difference between the film and the popular book is that the novel, 'Twilight', is told through the eyes of Bella Swan and not Edward Cullen. "[The movie] was hopefully more balanced. It definitely did not just come from Bella's perspective -- it was an equal relationship," Robert says.
The actor said to achieve this balance, the author offered him the original manuscript of the book that she wrote originally from Edward's perspective. "It was helpful for me -- just the amount of violence that goes through his head, which isn't in [the book] at all, but you can see [in the manuscript], Edward is completely nuts!"
