ET has emerging details from official documents after exclusively reporting that Kirsten Dunst has obtained a restraining order against an alleged stalker.
Dunst states clearly her opinion of Christopher Smith, who allegedly trespassed on her property repeatedly: "Mr. Smith is apparently mentally ill, and, although he has never met me, believes that he has some sort of spiritual connection with me."
In a defendant's statement to police, Smith claims emotional feelings for Dunst: "I'm in love with Kirsten, so I went to her house, I don't want to go to jail. I hope to get off with a warning. I connected with Kirsten spiritually, I felt like I connected with her and she connected with me. Now I don't know if she did, I guess you have to ask her if she connected."
Dunst gave an account of one incident on Nov. 19 at around 7:00 p.m., when she said Smith used the intercom at her property's front gate and spoke with her housemate and assistant, who informed him that the actress was not home. About 20 minutes later, Dunst said Smith either squeezed through or climbed over the front gate and trespassed on her property, knocked on her door and attempted to gain access to the home.
Dunst said her assistant was forced to slam the door on him and then contacted her security personnel and the police department.
According to an arrest report, police said Dunst's assistant told them Smith's unwelcome visit on Nov. 19 was the fourth in two days. When the assistant confronted Smith and asked how he had gotten past the front gate, he responded with a smirk: "By sliding through the gate."
