ET is with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as they return to the Big Easy for the premiere of Brad's whimsical new film, 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.'

"This film owes so much to New Orleans itself and the people of New Orleans, so it's really nice for us to unleash it here first," Brad tells our own Kevin Frazier. "We're really grateful to the contribution."

Brad has spent much of his time in New Orleans recently helping to build new homes in the lower 9th ward, an area of the city that was devastated by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

"We've got some houses going up; we've got some people in for the holidays," the star says. "I'm just anxious to get there because the machine's working. It works. I'm excited to see where it goes from here."

In theaters Christmas Day, the film follows the life of Benjamin Button, who is born as an old man and ages backwards as he gets older.
