ET breaks the news that actor Mark Ruffalo's brother Scott is clinging to life following a shooting in Beverly Hills earlier this week.

Sources tell ET that Scott, who is a hairstylist, was found after having been shot in the head. ET can also report that there is an investigation being conducted into the shooting. Sources say that the Ruffalo family is being very supportive of each other during this family tragedy.

Mark Ruffalo broke onto the scene in 2000's 'You Can Count on Me,' and has also starred in such films as 'Zodiac,' '13 Going on 30,' and 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.'
