John McCain appeared on the "Late Show" Thursday -- and the former GOP presidential candidate shared his thoughts on how President-elect Barack Obama is doing so far!

McCain's visit comes roughly two months after he famously canceled an appearance on the "Late Show," only to do an interview at the same time with CBS News' Katie Couric. This is his second interview since the campaign ended -- and since he and a "spurned" Letterman made amends on the air.

"I don't want to talk about the bleeping campaign," McCain said playfully. "Understand? If you think I'm going to go back to that bleeping situation, then bleep you."

McCain did talk some politics, though. The Arizona Sen. commended Obama for his White House staff choices -- including his pick for Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton. McCain said Clinton brings "instant credibility, a certain amount of celebrity."

"She is extremely knowledgeable on the issues," he went on to say, according to the AP. "I think it's a good team and I think it's a very wise choice. And I would like to say that I think President-elect Obama has made a number of very wise choices which I think shows a centrist approach to government, which, obviously, the way America and the world is today, is necessary."
