The prosecution states its case. Prosecutors allege William Balfour murdered three of Jennifer Hudson's family members out of jealousy sparked by the sight of a certain gift, a new report says. According to People magazine, prosecutors allege Balfour showed up at the Hudson family's Chicago home the day after his estranged wife (and Jennifer's sister) Julia Hudson celebrated her 31st birthday. At the family home, prosecutors contend, Balfour noticed a gift he believed was given to Julia by another man. Prosecutors allege Balfour acted on this purported jealousy by murdering Jennifer's mother, brother and seven-year-old nephew, says People mag.
