Reese Witherspoon's holiday comedy 'Four Christmases' is currently in theaters and it looks like the actress will soon be starring in another comedic role!

The Academy Award winning actress has been cast in an untitled comedy from 'Spanglish' director, James L. Brooks, Variety reports.

The film will have at least three major characters like Brooks' other movies 'Broadcast News' and 'Terms of Endearment,' the trade paper says.

So far Reese is the only star to sign on to the film, and according to Variety the studio hopes to start shooting in March.

The versatile star is also lending her voice to the DreamWorks animated film 'Monsters vs. Aliens,' out in 2009.
