Taylor Lautner of 'Twilight' is gaining a startling amount of weight in hopes to return as his character Jacob Black in the sequel film 'New Moon.'

"I just weighed myself today; I've put on 19 lbs.," the 16-year-old actor told MTV. "I've been working out since the day we finished filming 'Twilight.'"

Lautner hopes to pack on more pounds before filming. 'New Moon' is set to hit theaters on November 20, 2009.
