Eva Amurri Martino's family is officially "complete."
The 31-year-old actress, and daughter of Susan Sarandon, gave birth to a baby boy on Wednesday, she and husband Kyle Martino announced via her blog's newsletter
"It is with so much gratitude and joy that Kyle, Marlowe and I announced the arrival of our sweet boy, Major James Martino," reads the sweet post which includes a mention of the couple's 2-year-old daughter, Marlowe.
The message goes on to reveal that the baby was born at home, weighing in at 8 lbs, 3 oz., and measuring 22 inches long.
"Our hearts are busting. Our family is complete," the family statement continues, adding a "thank you" to fans for their "love and support."
The Mothers and Daughters
star revealed her pregnancy
in April, and wrote openly about her fears
after suffering a devastating miscarriage last year.
"When I'm scared, I speak to my Son -- I encourage him to stay with us, and tell him how much we are longing to hold him and to welcome him in to our family," she wrote in May. "We have plans for our Boy, and no matter what happens, I’m so grateful for the full heart I feel today."
Now that the newborn is finally here, the Martino family has lots to celebrate!
