Rihanna has made it clear that she’s with her! The 28-year-old “Work” singer stepped out in NYC on Wednesday – the day of the third and final presidential debate – wearing a large grey T-shirt with a photo of Hillary Clinton wearing a New York Yankees hat on it.
RiRi visited an acting studio, rocking the statement shirt with a pair of jean shorts and a black peacoat. The GRAMMY winner is currently preparing for her role in Oceans 8.
Fans quickly took notice, and celebrity activist Lena Dunham even posted a pic of the look to Instagram.
“[Mic] drop (as if her debate performance wasn’t enough -@geometricsleep and I are screaming over this),” the Girls creator captioned the photo of Rihanna after Clinton went head-to-head with GOP candidate Donald Trump.
Rihanna has not publicly endorsed a candidate – unless you count this recent fashion choice – but plenty of other celebs weighed in on Twitter during the buzzed-about final debate.
“She got Bin Laden; you didn’t even get an Emmy. #debate,” comedian Chelsea Handler tweeted.
Harry Potter scribe J.K. Rowling added, “Well, there you have it. A highly intelligent, experienced woman just debated a giant orange Twitter egg. Your move, America. #debate.”
