Congratulations Audra McDonald and Will Swenson!
The 46-year-old Broadway superstar gave birth to their daughter, Sally James McDonald-Swenson, on Wednesday, Oct. 19. McDonald tweeted a photo of her newborn's tiny feet to announce the big news, writing, "@thewillswenson and I are overjoyed to welcome Sally James McDonald-Swenson, born last night at 11:16 p.m. Our hearts are bursting."
Swenson, 43, also tweeted about the exciting new addition to their family. "@AudraEqualityMc and I are overjoyed to welcome Sally James McDonald-Swenson, born last night at 11:16 p.m. Our hearts are bursting," he wrote.
Sally joins McDonald's daughter, 15-year-old Zoe, from her first marriage. Swenson also has two sons from his previous marriage, 15-year-old Bridger and 12-year-old Sawyer. McDonald and Swenson have been married since October 2012.
The six-time Tony winner announced her pregnancy in May, revealing that she and Swenson were "surprised but elated" about the news.
