John Travolta's representative tells ET the actor's 16-year-old son "died suddenly" during a family vacation to the Bahamas.

The Travolta's family attorney, Michael Ossi, says Jett Travolta "suffered a seizure at his family's vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island" and had a "history of seizures."

"Attempts were made to revive him, but [Jett] died at the scene," Ossi said.

Jett is the eldest son of John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston.
