Ashlee Simpson-Wentz reflects on a busy year in which she married rocker Pete Wentz and became a mom.

"It was the greatest year of my life," Ashlee told reporters before celebrating New Year's Eve with Pete at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas, according to People magazine.

"I don't know if I can have high expectations for 2009 because 2008 was so good," said Ashlee, who added that her baby son Bronx Mowgli wan napping back at the hotel with a babysitter. "He's the best thing that ever happened to me," she said of her son, who was born in November.
