ET speaks to former Calvin Klein model Travis Fimmel about how he learned to respect Patrick Swayze while working with the cancer-stricken actor in the new A&E show "The Beast."

Fimmel calls Swayze, who was hospitalized last week for pneumonia, "a tough guy" who shows up to work every day and is constantly "such an inspiration."

The executive producer of "The Beast," John Romano, also tells ET that the production team is confident about Swayze's return and the star has been very ambitious about moving on with the show.

"We're taking our cues from him," Romano says. "He's giving us every sign that we're rolling forward; here comes season two. That's the energy he's giving out and that's the way we're doing the show."
