"The Price is Right" goes country and only ET is behind the scenes when host Drew Carey celebrates the "44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards."

"I can't believe we haven't done this before, because 'The Price is Right' audience and the ACMA audience have a lot of crossover," Drew tells ET. "It seems like it was a natural. On the showcases, they were crazy."

For this special hour of "The Price is Right," the showcases were country-themed, and special guests Reba McEntire, who is hosting the awards show for the 11th straight year, and Heidi Newfield,each presented a special prize.

"I thought he would wear a 10-gallon hat and a big belt buckle," Reba says of Drew. "They had fun with it. I could tell the gals liked wearing the outfits and giving out the prizes. It is a big shot in the arm for country music."

At this year's "Academy of Country Music Awards," Reba is not just the host, she is a nominee.

"To be nominated for an award is a lot; to win is best," she jokes.

"The Price is Right," featuring Reba and Heidi Newfield, will air on Friday, April 3 on CBS. Then the ACMAs will air on Sunday, April 5 at 8 p.m., also on CBS.
