Hulk Hogan wants to clarify his remarks to Rolling Stone, in which he said "I totally understand O.J."

A rep for the wrestling superstar tells ET: "Hulk in no way condones the OJ situation. As part of a larger conversation, he referred to it to exemplify his frustration with his own situation."

The wrestling icon reveals in the mag that he's so frustrated at his current troubles -- wife Linda filing for divorce and locking him out of his house and allegedly spending his assets while reportedly romancing a much younger man -- that he's seeing red.

"I could've turned everything into a crime scene, like O.J., cutting everybody's throat," he tells the magazine. "You see a 19 year old boy driving your Escalade, sleeping in your bed, with your wife. I mean, I totally understand O.J."
