Reality stars Vanessa and Angela Simmons talk for the first time to ET's Kevin Frazier about their brother Joseph "Jojo" Simmons' recent arrest after allegedly buying marijuana and running from the cops.

Jojo was arrested in Manhattan's Upper West Side after cops spotted the aspiring 19-year-old rapper allegedly purchasing marijuana and then rolling it into a joint, MTV News reports.

Vanessa and Angela said the family is giving Jojo "support on all levels." "It was a really bad situation," the sisters tell Kevin while at Southern California's annual Wango Tango music festival. "But everyone learns on their own and, you know what, he's human."

A NYPD spokesperson told MTV news Jojo was booked on a felony charge of attempted reckless endangerment as he is reported to have allegedly almost ran his BMW into a police car. The spokesperson also says Rev's son has been charged with two misdemeanors for criminal use of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest and a violation for marijuana possession.

Jojo, along with his siblings and parents, star in the reality show "Run's House" on MTV.
