Jim Carrey On His 'Bitter' New Movie Role

Jim Carrey talks to ET about playing the "bitter-to-the-core" character Scrooge in the retelling of 'A Christmas Carol.'
"I wanted to bring the bitterness that a loveless life can bring to someone," Carrey said of bringing the classic character back to the big screen.
He continues, "['A Christmas Carol'] is one of the greatest stories of transformation ever written."
Colin Firth and director Robert Zemeckis also spoke to ET about their roles in 'A Christmas Carol,' while attending the Cannes Film Festival.
Watch the video to learn more about this movie, of which Carrey says the "moral of the tale is love." 'A Christmas Carol' is set to hit theaters November 6.
