John Rich Turns Himself in to Police
ET can confirm that John Rich of country music duo Big & Rich turned himself into Nashville police on Thursday.
According to the Associated Press Rich said in a statement that he turned himself in to face charges that were filed by "Nashville Star" contestant Jared Ashley during the fourth season of the USA reality competition show.
A rep from the Davidson County Sheriff's Office tells ET that Rich has since been released from police custody, after he paid the bond amounts tied to the three charges against him.
Rich faces two charges of misdemeanor assault and one misdemeanor charge of harassment.
