Larry Birkhead and daughter Dannielynn joined other parents and their children at a special event over the weekend in Los Angeles.

Hollywood.tv caught up with Birkhead and his adorable daughter at the Bailey Baio Angel Foundation event put on by actor Scott Baio and his wife Renee.

"I was touched by Scott and Renee's story," Birkhead tells HTV. "Any kinds of kids' charity I'm all about it."

Baio and his wife started the foundation shortly after their daughter Bailey tested positive for a metabolic disorder known as G-A 1.

"This foundation is set up to bring awareness and expand newborn screening into metabolic disorders," Baio says. "It gives aid and support to the families that have children with metabolic disorders."

Festivities included a performance by children's entertainment group The Jumpitz. Also, Mabel's Labels, Ju-Ju-Be and Buckley Boo donated products to the event.
