"Parks and Recreation" star Amy Poehler has signed on to a new big screen project!

The "Saturday Night Live" alum will star in 'Lunch Lady' the film adaptation of Jarrett J. Krosoczka's soon-to-be-launched series of children's novels, The Hollywood Reporter says.

The series tells the story of a school cafeteria server who secretly leads a double life and investigates wrongdoings with the help of her assistant, the trade paper writes.

The first two books in the series "Lunch lady and the League of Librarians," and "Lunch Lady and the Cyborg Substitute," are scheduled to be released this summer.
