'Up' star Ed Asner's divorce lawsuit with Cindy Gilmore Asner continues, and the actor is claiming he is having money trouble when it comes to paying the couple's legal fees.
Ed filed for legal separation from Cindy in 2007 and, according to legal documents obtained by ET, the couple could incur $500,000 in attorney fees by the time their divorce is final.
Asner already has an outstanding balance in legal fees of over $56,000 and has filed for a case management plan that could possibly reduce future attorney fees.
The actor also states in the documents that he's had to open a home equity line of credit to cover joint expenses. Cindy is seeking spousal support and is disputing the date of separation.
Asner voices the main character in the Disney-Pixar movie 'Up.' The film made $68.2 million in its first weekend at the box office and $44.2 million in its second weekend.
