CBS announced its fall schedule today with the majority of shows debuting the week of Sept. 21.

The two exceptions to this rule are "Survivor: Samoa," which will premiere on Thursday, Sept. 17, and "Three Rivers" which will launch in early October.

Monday, Sept. 21: "How I Met Your Mother," "Accidentally on Purpose" (new series), "Two and a Half Men," "The Big Bang Theory" (new timeslot) and "CSI: Miami."

Tuesday, Sept. 22: "NCIS" returns for its seventh season, followed by the new "NCIS: Los Angeles" spin-off and the freshman drama "The Good Wife."

Wednesday, Sept. 23: The night kicks off with the fifth season of "The New Adventures of Old Christine," followed by "Gary Unmarried," "Criminal Minds" and "CSI: NY." Thursday, Sept. 24: "CSI" Crime Scene Investigation" begins its 10th season at 9 p.m., following "Survivor: Samoa," and at 10 p.m., "The Mentalist" moves into its new day and time.

Friday, Sept. 25: "Ghost Whisperer" launches its fifth season, followed by "Medium," which is moving over from NBC, and "Numb3rs" returns in the 10 p.m. slot.

Saturday, Sept. 26: The night begins with two hours of "Crimetime Saturday," and at 10 p.m., "48 Hours Mystery" wraps up the night.

Sunday, Sept. 27: The venerable "60 Minutes" launches the night at 7 p.m., followed by two hours of "The Amazing Race" and then "Cold Case" at 10 p.m.
