New 'Step Up' Sequel Going 3-D
Principal photography has begun in NYC on the third movie in the hit 'Step Up' film franchise -- and this time the dance drama is coming to you in eye-popping Digital 3-D.
Alyson Stoner ('Step Up') and Adam Sevani ('Step Up 2 the Streets') reprise their original roles in the third film -- helmed by 'Step Up 2' director Jon M. Chu -- which follows a tight-knit group of street dancers as they take on the world's best breakdancers in life-changing showdown.
The first 3-D dance flick to shoot entirely in NYC is slated for a 2010 release.
