Ed McMahon received his final standing ovation at his memorial service on Sunday. ET has the exclusive details.

The service was held at the Church of the Hills at Forest Lawn Memorial Parks and Mortuaries in the Hollywood Hills where approximately 200 guests arrived to memorialize the TV icon with an outpouring of love and emotion.

Natalie Cole -- accompanied by David Foster -- gave a touching performance of her song "Smile," while McMahon's wife Pam and his children and grandchildren spoke at the memorial service. Foster also gave another performance with "Star Search" winner Nita Whitaker.

Celebrities in attendance included: Jimmy Kimmel, Tony Danza and his wife, George Schlatter, Johnny Carson's former wife Joanna Carson and more.

As ET reported in late February, the "Tonight Show" announcer was suffering from systemic bone cancer, along with other health issues, and had been treated at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. His wife Pam was at his side when he passed away on Tuesday morning.

McMahon was a colonel in the Marines and had members of the U.S. Marine Corps. standing guard at his door while he was in the hospital.

ET sources say the guests at his memorial service gave the TV legend a final standing ovation loud enough for him to hear.
