Dame Elizabeth Taylor Works to Continue Michael Jackson's Legacy
Contrary to recent tabloid reports that Dame Elizabeth Taylor was on suicide watch, a source close to the renowned actress tells ET that Taylor is carrying on her dear friend's legacy of helping others.
"Elizabeth has so much left to do in her life," the source tells ET, calling Taylor a "survivor."
The source says the actress plans to continue her fight against HIV/AIDS with her charities: the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation and the Elizabeth Taylor Endowment Fund at UCLA. The source notes that Dame Elizabeth will do everything in her power to support Michael's philanthropy and legacy.
A longtime friend to Michael, Taylor released a statement to ET following the King of Pop's death, saying: "My heart …my mind … are broken. I loved Michael with all my soul and I can't imagine life without him."
