Farrah Fawcett's extensive cancer-fighting treatments were the subject of the NBC two-hour special, "Farrah's Story," and now a report says someone may have helped pay for her health care.
A representative for 92-year-old financier Kirk Kerkorian told the New York Daily News' Rush & Molly that the billionaire "quietly" paid for "Charlie's Angels" star's cancer treatment.
"He just saw a friend in pain and wanted to help," a source tells the columnists.
A source close to Farrah tells ET that, to their knowledge, [Kerkorian] never paid for Farrah's medical bills or plane tickets. "In fact, she always paid her clinic bill ... or occasionally her business manager wired the money. Then insurance reimbursed. I don't believe this is true for a second."
Farrah succumbed to cancer on June 25.
