Ryan O'Neal flashed the peace sign to reporters following a court hearing Friday.

Ryan received a glowing report at the hearing, and is maintaining compliance with an 18-month program he has been a part of since pleading guilty to possessing a controlled substance earlier this year.

On July 16 of 2010 he will appear in court for a progress report, which could result in dismissal of his case.

Ryan, along with his son Redmond, were both arrested on September 17, 2008, after drugs were allegedly found at the family's Malibu home.
