'Funny People' star Leslie Mann sat down with David Letterman Wednesday night on "The Late Show," and the actress reveals that although her children have appeared in some of the movies she has made with her husband Judd Apatow the kids are not actually allowed to watch the films.
"They can't see the movies and their friends can't," Leslie tells the talk show host. "It's not on their radar at all."
Leslie tells Dave that she and her husband were worried about the parents of their children's friends seeing some of their movies such as 'Knocked Up,' and 'Pineapple Express' and getting the wrong idea about their family.
"Kids' parents see the movies, and I always worry because I don't want them to think that we're some pot smoking family," she says. "They actually like the movies a lot, and now they confide in me about their pot smoking ways."
In 'Funny People' the actress plays Laura who is married to Clarke (Eric Bana), but shares a steamy love scene with her ex-boyfriend, who is played by Adam Sandler. Leslie explains how her husband reacted to the racy scene with his longtime friend.
"He wrote it, he didn't have to write that part in," she says. "He seemed to really enjoy himself that day."
'Funny People' hits theaters July 31.
