ET got the reaction of new "Dancing with the Stars" contender Donny Osmond, following the announcement on "Good Morning America" that he would be joining the competitive dance show.

"I can't let my sister beat me," he jokes with ET about competing on the show. Marie Osmond was on season five of "DWTS," and fainted after her samba routine.

"People come up to me and say, 'Don't faint,'" Donnie says laughing. "I've been taunted [to come on 'DWTS'], right and left, by everyone, ever since Marie was on."

ET also caught up with the show's hosts, Tom Bergeron and Samantha Harris, who expressed their excitement for the season nine competitors. Tom jokes of politician Tom DeLay joining the competition saying, "He better not try redistricting in the ballroom."
