ET has the latest...
Our Mark Steines was on hand for the star-studded premiere of the new comedy 'Couples Retreat' where things turned serious when the A-listers responded to the David Letterman extortion trial.
"I honestly have not seen his response to it but from what I understand, what he's done has been consistent with the kind of guy that I know," Jason Bateman said. "He's very intelligent, very ahead of everything, and he seems to have handled it in a very professional way, which you wouldn't expect anything less from him. It's not going to make me stop watch it."
Meanwhile, 'Couples Retreat' -- starring Vince Vaughn, Jon Favreau, Bateman, Kristen Bell, Kristin Davis, Malin Akerman and more -- centers around four couples who travel to a tropical island for a vacation but are forced to work on their marriages and participate in therapy sessions. Also, keep an eye out for former ET correspondent Carlos Ponce, who plays the couples' shirtless-and-muscular yoga instructor.
"It's a really fun, charming way of dealing with relatable problems," Vaughn says of the fun flick.
The hilarious new comedy hits theaters Oct. 9.
