Garth Brooks is about to prove he's "More Than a Memory"! The country superstar is gearing up to perform a series of special concerts, and ET has the details.

Starting December 11, Brooks will play a series of special engagements at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas.

"Steve Wynn has done what I thought was impossible. He has given me a chance to sing again for the people, while at the same time never missing a day with my children," said Brooks. "I am naturally nervous, but it feels good to be out from under the low ceiling of 'retirement' I put on myself."

"Everything about Garth's performances -- his artistry, the range of his voice and connection with his audience -- is something that I haven't seen since the Rat Pack," said Wynn, the chairman of the board and CEO of Wynn Resorts.

Tickets for the concerts go on sale Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 11 a.m. ET.
