Oral arguments have been scheduled by a California appeals court on Monday in the Roman Polanski case, says a new report.
The Associated Press reports that the California Second District Court of Appeal scheduled oral arguments for Dec. 10.
The filmmaker's attorneys asked the court to order a judge -- who earlier this year refused to rule on the dismissal motion -- to decide a motion to dismiss the case against Polanski, whether Polanski is present or not, says the AP.
Polanski was arrested in Zurich on September 26 for having sex with a 13-year-old girl in 1977. After pleading guilty, he fled the U.S. in 1978.
