The executive director of Miss California USA released a statement to ET saying that after Carrie Prejean's bizarre interview with Larry King on Wednesday night, he believes "the public is finally getting a glimpse of the real [former Miss California] who lives in her own delusional world."

The statement continues: "The childish behavior, her negative attitude, the sarcasm and condescending tone, the disrespect and continual lying she is demonstrating now is only a fraction of what we endured during her reign and after. Anyone who buys her book is supporting a woman who is actually the opposite of everything she claims to be. I sincerely hope she is able to get the psychological help I believe she has shown to clearly need."

"Larry King Live" had Prejean on the show via satellite to discuss her new book, but the former beauty queen found herself in a heated moment where she called King "inappropriate" multiple times when he asked her about why she settled with the Miss USA pageant. She then removed her microphone and told King he was being "extremely inappropriate" and that she was "about to leave" the show.
