"Brothers and Sisters" star and last season's "Dancing with the Stars" runner-up Gilles Marini is taking it all off for a good cause -- a calendar to benefit a children's charity

If you want to spend every day of the year 2010 with the hunky 'Sex and the City: The Movie' star, pick up a copy of his calendar at amazon.com. The calendar will benefit Maximum Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization designed to help families dealing with the financial hurdles that often accompany caring for a terminally ill child.

"This year, [photographer Fred Goudon] asked me if I would love to do a calendar,' Gilles tells ET. He decided if his proceeds would go to a charity, it was a good idea.

Goudon and Gilles have been shooting together since Gilles was 18 years old and about to enter the army. Since then, they have snapped between 10 and 20 thousand photos together.

Gilles, who has a son, Georges, and a daughter, Juliana, says he picked the children's charity because it hits close to home.

"There is no way my kids would die before me," he says. "I would be dead inside."

On a happier note, Gilles says he is enjoying his time on "Brothers and Sisters" and that it has been a great learning experience.

"They [the cast] are all amazing and very skilled," he tells ET. "I am in almost every scene with Rachel Griffiths, who is so brilliant. Having her help and guidance is priceless. Every day I am learning and I love to go to work."

Even with his busy acting schedule, Gilles has kept up with the new season of "Dancing with the Stars." Here is what he tells ET about his pick to win.

"Whenever I can, I follow. My very good friend Mark Dacascos was eliminated because his partner was sick. He did great. I will say now Donny Osmond, the nicest guy. I really like the guy. He has got an edge. I like Kelly Osbourne. I never had a chance to communicate with her yet. I like to see the people who are really nice. I love Louis van Amstel. He is a great choregorphaer and a great man. If Donny or Kelly won, I would be very happy. I think people will vote for Kelly because she never had any experience. People can relate to that."

Then, beginning Wednesday, Nov. 18, Gilles will play Vanessa Redgrave's husband on two episodes of "Nip/Tuck," airing at 10 p.m. on FX.

"I am a bad guy. It is very dark," he says. "I want the people who are following what I do to keep in mind that it is a character."
