A federal judge has reportedly dismissed a plagiarism lawsuit against "The View" co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
The Associated Press reports that U.S. District Judge Joseph Tauro dismissed the lawsuit last week after the attorney for Susan Hassett did not pursue it. Hassett claimed that Hasselbeck plagiarized content from a book on celiac disease she authored.
Attorney Richard Cunha said Monday that he believed there was some plagiarism, but not enough that Hassett could be awarded monetary damages, the AP reports.
Last June, Hasselbeck told ET of the lawsuit, "This week a claim was filed with regard to my book The G-Free Diet. I assure you that the allegations are without merit, and are being handled appropriately."
