In her first televised sit-down interview since the death of her brother, Michael, Janet Jackson reveals that her family tried several times to help the King of Pop get the help he needed.

Janet says the last time she saw Michael was two days before her birthday and tells ABC's Robin Roberts that her family attempted to step in and help him but were unsuccessful.

"Those are the things you do when you love someone," she says of her family's efforts. "You can't just let them continue on that way."

When asked how Michael responded to the numerous interventions, Janet responded, "[He] understood that it was out of love. ... People can tend to be in denial."

The singer says that what she misses most about her brother is his silliness and love. "We had a lot of fun together," she reflects on their childhood. "We would practically do everything together from morning to night."
