Natalia Boa Vista (Eva La Rue) and Ryan Wolfe (Jonathan Togo) don't know it when they enter a meth lab, but their lives are in jeopardy on tonight's episode of "CSI: Miami." Will Horatio Caine (David Caruso) be able to save them?
The criminals behind a ring of meth labs have booby trapped all the locations in order to prevent law enforcement from entering the premises and gathering evidence that could be used against them in court. Natalia and Ryan don't know that, and when they enter the lab, the facility detonates.
"In an earlier sequence, we find the debris of another explosion -- a clock and a timing device. So we realize they're possibly all booby trapped. I get to this one a little bit late, but we're able to extract Natalia from the situation," David tells ET.
When Eva first started working on "CSI: Miami," her character was mainly confined to the lab, working on DNA samples from cold cases. Over the years, Natalia has worked her way out of the lab and into the field. But that often puts her life in danger.
"I end up having some residual issues after the explosion but I'm not sure how those are going to play out yet," Eva says. "Hopefully, it's not that I'm addicted to meth, but they don't really tell us. What I do know is it's an equilibrium issue."
And Jonathan jokes, "This is the fourth episode in my tenure here at 'CSI: Miami' that I've been blown up. [I'm getting] really good at it. I've said, 'Get down,' more times than, the guy who did 'Soul Train, Don Cornelius. I say it in a very loud and more masculine voice. That's where the acting comes in."
"CSI: Miami" airs Mondays at 10 p.m. on CBS.
