ET has the latest...
ET joined Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Daniel Day-Lewis, Kate Hudson, Fergie and more stars on the red carpet Tuesday night for the New York premiere of 'Nine' -- an event so musical that even Madonna couldn't resist its call!
Madonna and her daughter Lourdes were just two of the famous faces on the 'Nine' red carpet supporting the movie musical, which Fergie told ET was a bit uncomfortable making, since she was in the sand for most of the time!
"It was painful," she said at the premiere. "Sand got everywhere. So at the end of the day the hot shower was a great reward."
Hudson, who brought her mom Goldie Hawn as her date, admitted her scenes were a bit more appealing.
"It's filled with sex appeal," she said. "I got the Daniel that was drunk and flirting in a bar, so that was a pretty good day at work."
Day-Lewis found it was easy to relate to his character Guido. "I definitely know what he's going through," he told ET. "He gets to the point where he's meant to be doing a piece of work and there's not a single thought in his head."
Meanwhile, Kidman and Marion Cotillard were just thrilled to be a part of a musical.
"It was my dream to do a musical and to do a musical with Rob Marshall is magic," Cotillard said.
"It was fun," Kidman added. "To do a musical in this day in age is such a joy."
