Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos and "CSI: Miami"'s Eva La Rue will return to "All My Children" to celebrate the daytime drama's 40th anniversary!

"It is always great to come home," says Ripa, who played Hayley opposite Consuelos' Mateo on the long-running series. The couple met and fell in love on the show, as did their characters.

Ripa, Consuelos and La Rue will be joined by a list of fan-favorite veterans including Julia Barr, Laurence Lau, Taylor Miller, James Mitchell, Leven Rambin and Eden Riegel.

Here's the 411: Hayley and Mateo, return to Pine Valley when it's voted "The Most Congenial Town in America," and Hayley produces and hosts a documentary on the town for her TV show, "The Wave."

"As soon as a few of its colorful residents invaded my imagination over 40 years ago, Pine Valley became my second home and family -- a very large and loving family … To this family, I am forever grateful," says show creator Agnes Nixon on reaching the milestone

The 40th anniversary will be celebrated over two special episodes airing Monday, January 4 and Tuesday, January 5.
