"Baywatch" babe Nicole Eggert says she doesn't believe in scales. So when she signed on for the new season of "Celebrity Fit Club 7: Boot Camp," she had no clue what the number would be when she got on the scale.
"I don't believe in numbers," Nicole tells ET. "It's like watching water boil for me. They weighed me in at 130, so I said I want to be maybe 110. I don't know much about numbers. I just know about how you look, how you feel, how your clothes fit and that sort of thing."
Nicole says that she believes her weight gain is a result of being depressed for a really long period of time.
"Really shutting down and checking out," she claims led to the weight gain, adding, "For the first time in my life, not being able to pick myself up. Just hitting that wall, falling and not getting back up for awhile."
Adding to her depression was the loss of her father to skin cancer and a bad breaup, but she says, "I've never had an eating disorder. I'm not even really an overeater. That's the worst part. I think [my weight gain] was just from being locked away and not participating in life, being lethargic and sad and just laying in bed."
Nicole is aware that there is a huge pressure to look a certain way in Hollywood, but she says that is not her goal. Her goal is to be fit and healthy -- and to do it in a sensible way.
"Kill me now if [Mexican food is] cut out forever," she jokes.
Nicole feels that when she gets to the end of "Celebrity Fit Club," not only will she be fit again but her spirit will be back.
"What I care about is getting my cardio back to where it was," she says.
"Celebrity Fit Club 7: Boot Camp" premieres Monday, February 8 at 9 p.m. on VH1.
